This is the first teapot I ever made and it shows. Although there are no critical cracks or structural damage, there is a small crack along the lid. For a heavy item, this does not hold much tea. The capacity is, in fact, of about 420ml whilst it weighs over 1.2kg. These are the reasons why this made into the seconds collection. It is, however, perfectly functional and in my opinion quite pretty, too.
This is a stoneware piece and it was fired at 1,240 Celsius and is dishwasher safe. However, it is recommended that you hand wash handmade items. Not microwave tested.
